Dr. Deanelle “Dee” Hidalgo is the Air Mobility Improvements and Derivatives (I and D) Director at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. In this capacity, she develops and executes long-range technology roadmaps and business strategies relevant to the global advanced mobility and special missions markets. She leads a cross-function, geographically diverse team that leverages collaboration across the Lockheed Enterprise and strategic partnerships to enable new missions and deliver transformative, integrated capabilities to a broad range of domestic and international customers.
Dr. Hidalgo’s broad experience spans over 20 years across multiple technical disciplines, including advanced weapon systems, experimental air vehicles, signal/image processing, long-range remote sensing systems, guidance and navigation systems, human machine interfaces and high-bandwidth communications. During her academic and professional career, Dr. Hidalgo has followed her passions – (1) developing the next generation of aerospace and defense leaders and technologists and (2) commercializing advanced technologies that are vital to protecting the security interests of the U.S. and its allies.
