Dr. Rencher provides leadership in facilitating a common understanding, strategic roadmap, and functional utilization of digital twin and digital thread standards across Boeing and the aerospace industry. He represents Boeing to several aerospace and defense industry standards bodies (AIA, ISO, SAE International, OMG, and A&D PLM Action Group) to establish standards for the design and operational deployment of the digital twin and digital thread. Robert is recognized as an effective expert in addressing complex airline information systems; specifically, the integration, security, and performance of the global information technology infrastructure utilized by the aerospace industry. Robert holds BS degree in Operations Research, an MBA in Information Technology, and a Ph.D. in Information Technology Leadership. As an avid inventor, Robert has been awarded 12 U.S. patents with several additional pending.
